Astronomical Surface Decorations on Ceramics, Mesopotamia, part VII

A bit more surfing today and I'm not bringing up anything new, so let's review:

Information about celestial events was considered a secret in Babylon. With the clay tablet to prove it!

However, we had our first real success. There were ceramics that show astronomical information (star charts) and we can understand their relation to star actual positions.

Interestingly, I was not able to find anything besides tablets that had cunieforms.  I could not find any pictures of pottery with cunieforms.

I'm still awaiting word from the British Museum about their collection of cunieforms and astronomy.

I think it is time to go back to our list and see what civilization to study is next...ancient Greece!
