Sunday Morning

Rain at last! - I've been reading blog entries and news stories about how much it's been raining in other places but here in the Seattle area, where it's supposed to rain, it's been way too dry for way too long and the smog has been building. (How can tv weather reporters keep a straight face when telling us how nice the weather is—the air is brown for gosh sakes!!!) Well, it's been raining all morning. Hope it keeps up all day at least—two or three days would be better. I am seriously tired of being sick from breathing dirty air and need a break. We had a teeny bit of rain on Tuesday afternoon and again yesterday morning but that wasn't enough to do anything but get the weeds growing again in the still-brown lawn.

Speaking of weeds in the lawn - One of "my" squirrels spent most of the day yesterday burying sunflower seeds in the lawn. At least those will be nicer than the usual weeds!

Another annoyance - If a password has to be of a certain length or if it has to be both numbers and letters, for gosh sakes what's so hard about noting that requirement on the registration form rather than after I submit the form with a password that doesn't meet the criteria. What a time waster! (Doesn't exactly leave a positive impression of your site either.)
