I am SO glad we moved up the hill since last time we had this sort of excessively wet weather. Our last place was most of the way down the hill and had a landlord who couldn't be bothered to take any responsibility for drainage (or anything else) on his property. Our apartment ended up as a literal slime pit. Guess why we moved up the hill! Here near the top I can comfortably sit and watch gravity move the water away from me down towards Puget Sound.

    Mariners' Moyer Wins Clemente Award

Congratulations to Seattle pitcher Jamie Moyer! All of us in Western Washington know just how much he and his family have contributed to the community in time and hard work. Can't think of anyone more deserving of this special award.
