Martinez and Piniella Reunited
Lou Piniella will be honored by the St. John's Presbyterian Learning Center at its 2003 "Year of the Child Breakfast" on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. ET at Higgins Hall (St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 Himes Ave.) in Tampa.
Tino Martinez, who played for Piniella with the Mariners, will be the breakfast chair. Local Fox sportscaster Chip Carter will be the master of ceremonies, and all proceeds will benefit the learning center. For tickets or more information, contact Dianne Patterson at (813) 872-6826.
