RANDOM RAMBLINGS

So it's June. The way it feels around here it might as well be November. Except there's no football on the TV and no fire burning in the fireplace. But there's always that bottle of Wild Turkey to keep warm. My sister and brother-in-law are off to Russia to begin the process of adopting a baby. Toxic fumes are rising from the chemicals leaching into the water table to mix with the fog of automobile exhaust rendering driving a dicey business at best. It's little wonder that a state legislator had once nominated Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run as the state song. It's all about getting the hell out of Jersey. But, as Scarlet O'Hara once said, "tomorrow is another day."
