JUST ANOTHER RAINY WEEKEND Maybe I'll move to Seattle so I can get some sun. I planned to go scuba diving on a wreck this weekend but it looks like a washout. At least I just got the news today that I won a big case so the wife and I are celebrating with a bottle of champagne. The Yanks are beating up on the Mets so all is well. I also noticed that on the Fourth of July La Bamba's Big Band will be headlining at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park along with Bobby Bandiera and John Eddie. If you don't know who he is, La Bamba (a/k/a Richie Rosenberg) is the trombone player with the porkpie hat in the Max Weinberg 7 on Conan O'Brien. He's backed up Bruce Springsteen and is a driving force in the horn section for the Asbury Jukes. It'll be a great show and a great weekend with the Asbury Music Festival going on the next day.
