NO WONDER I'VE BEEN FEELING CRAPPY

According to an AP article the psychological lift normally provided by springtime hasn't come yet for people suffering from the winter doldrums or more serious seasonal disorders in the weather-beaten East.

"Some people more than others are sensitive to the amount and intensity of the light they're exposed to and these are people who in the winter typically have seasonal depression or seasonal affective disorder," said Dr. Norman Sussman, professor of psychiatry at the New York University medical school. "For people who suffer from this condition, this has been a terrible spring."

Maybe I should start a new category in this blog called "Hondoland's Crappy Weather."

TONIGHT I'M CLEANING OUT MY CLOSET

I read a very thoughtful and moving post over at Cheyenne's blog last night and it got me thinking. There's alot of stuff I have to start sifting and sorting through. Some are things and others are thoughts and ways of thinking. Some must be looked at one last time and discarded. Others remembered and cherished but put aside as part of a past and a life that doesn't exist anymore. A college friend of mine once told me "the past is perfect just as it is." That may be so but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be living in the present with our eyes fixed firmly ahead. I've got a lot to do over the next couple of weeks.

Come and pick up your baggage. Put it on another plane
It complicates the simple things steps on the brakes again and again
Shift it lug it move it on together with your point of view
It's getting hard to separate your baggage from you
