New 3 megapixel digital camera from Ricoh that is supposed to be not just one of the fastest digital cameras around, but actually even beats out regular 35mm cameras in terms of shutter response time. But what's also nice about the Caplio G3 is that in a pinch you can swap out its rechargeable lithium-ion battery and replace it with two AA batteries.

My digital camera is great (an Olympus D-40), but I will have to say that the next time I buy, shutter response time is going to be an important point of comparison. Missing pictures because of slow recovery is my biggest pet peeve.
