...Man jailed after getting upset with TSA screeners after they felt up his pregnant wife. While I do not agree with Mr. Monahan's conclusion that we're on an interminable downward spiral, I will agree that this is an unacceptable breech. He should have demanded the video, the video in which his wife was molested in public, and his outrage is just what I would have felt. I woulda done just what he did. Link via [Boing Boing]

Likewise, we think having faith means being convinced God exists in the same way we are convinced a chair exists. People who cannot be completely convinced of God[base ']s existence think faith is impossible for them.
Not so. People who doubt can have great faith because faith is something you do, not something you think. In fact, the greater your doubt the more heroic your faith.
I learned that it doesn't matter in the least that I be convinced of God's existence. Whether or not God exists is none of my business, really. What do I know of existence? I don't even know how the VCR works.
