I pulled this photo off my camera a few minutes ago and I think it describes just how chaotic our conference was. Full of behind the scenes turbulence, but the outer façade of the event itself was flawlessly constructed. Freedom of speech and freedom of repsonse... Recently, Jamie made some relatively inflammatory remarks on his blog, and his comments section filled up with discussion and some flaming (mostly on my part, though it was a mutual affair). Jamie's now taken comments down from his site. I guess he can't stand a little criticism.
Now, I may be wrong more than I'm right, but I will never remove the voice of dissent and opposition from my site. Part of that right to free speech that we get is the responsibility to do it in a fair fashion, and be called to task for things that we say. So, comment away, readers. All 6 of you. |
