CBS: "Four CBS News employees, including three executives, have been ousted for their role in preparing and reporting a disputed story about President Bush's National Guard service.
The action was prompted by the report of an independent panel that concluded that CBS News failed to follow basic journalistic principles in the preparation and reporting of the piece. The panel also said CBS News had compounded that failure with a 'rigid and blind' defense of the 60 Minutes Wednesday report."
"Civil rights, which had been developed over centuries, are subordinated to the 'healthy impulses of the people'. The basis for applicable rights henceforth is the 'National Socialist world view' and the 'will of the Führer'. Administration and the courts are staffed with NSDAP members who swear oaths to the person of Adolf Hitler.
The press and radio are placed under strict censorship. Social and private life is placed under state supervision." The Germans called it Gleichschaltung.

If you want to see a shameless exhibition of nepotism and downright evil, go to the Daily Show. The Torturer-in-Chief, Gonzalez, couldn't present a greater mockery of justice.

it is clear this war is getting out of hand. Day after the day the situation becomes worse and worse. Coble is the first republican to suggest a withdrawal, more will follow.
