The British police have arrested two women for not divulging information that might have led to possible suspects of the London bombing. That is a great strategy for hiding the fact that no progress has been made in the investigation. It also serves well in a blaming game that diverts the attention from his own terror perpetrated in Iraq.
Blair is trying to stifle all criticism of his failed war on terror by criminalising his political opponents. If he can't kill all 'terrorists', he can at least try to silence his critics by putting them on one line with terrorists. And the London bombing came as a gift from heaven which Blair is now exploiting to the utmost. As Galloway said 'Bush and Blair have blood on their hands'. The most dangerous terrorists at this moment are Bush and Blair.

BaltimoreSun: "A story that the U.S. government hoped would never see the light of day finally has been published, 60 years after it was spiked by military censors. The discovery of reporter George Weller's firsthand account of conditions in post-nuclear Nagasaki sheds light on one of the great journalistic betrayals of the last century: the cover-up of the effects of the atomic bombing on Japan.
On Aug. 6, 1945, the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima; three days later, Nagasaki was hit. Gen. Douglas MacArthur promptly declared southern Japan off-limits, barring the news media. More than 200,000 people died in the atomic bombings of the cities, but no Western journalist witnessed the aftermath and told the story."

DemocracyNow: "Footage of the devastation after the U.S. bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that was commissioned by the US occupying forces was suppressed for decades."
Amy Goodman and her brother, fellow journalist David Goodman, are filing an official request with the Pulitzer committee to strip New York Times correspondent William Laurence of the Pulitzer he was awarded for his reporting on the atomic bomb.

NewScientist: "The US decision to drop atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 was meant to kick-start the Cold War rather than end the Second World War, according to two nuclear historians who say they have new evidence backing the controversial theory."

Visit the Peace Museum where you can find a few panoramas of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Guardian: "Saturday is the 60th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. The nuclear powers are commemorating it in their own special way: by seeking to ensure that the experiment is repeated. In just a few months, Bush and Blair have destroyed global restraint on the development of nuclear weapons."

Honor the 60th anniversary of the U.S. atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by urging your elected officials to reject new U.S. nuclear weapons programs.
