PINR: "The August 19, 2005 attack on two U.S. warships at the port of Aqaba in Jordan raises concern that the ongoing insurgency in Iraq could, in the future, have a destabilizing effect on the region."

And this won't help either:
"US forces in Baghdad shot dead a Reuters television soundman and wounded a cameraman, Iraqi police said."
StarTribune: "A high-level contracting official who has been a vocal critic of the Pentagon's decision to give Halliburton Co. a multibillion-dollar, no-bid contract for work in Iraq was removed from her job by the Army Corps of Engineers, effective Saturday."

Bush is not able to 'deliver the goods', it seems he will end up promoting a fundamentalist Islamic state.

A picture named Monkey.jpg I can't help laughing whenever I see this picture. It's so funny.
"Scientists have been warned that their latest experiments may accidently produce monkeys with brains more human than animal.
Critics argue that if these fetuses are allowed to develop into self-aware subjects, science will be thrown into an ethical nightmare."
And again I have to laugh. Would a super-animal intelligence be a threat to mankind? Let's be honest, we are a threat to ourselves. And of course, why mess with apes? But if we look at the monkeys in office, in the White House and elsewhere, there is no need to be alarmed. This is the planet of the apes.
