ABC: "An increasingly unpopular war, an ethics cloud, and broad economic discontent have pushed public opinion of the Bush administration from bad to worse, infecting not only the president's ratings on political issues but his personal credentials for honesty and leadership as well."
AfterDowningStreet: "By a margin of 53% to 42%, Americans want Congress to impeach President Bush if he lied about the war in Iraq, according to a new poll commissioned by AfterDowningStreet.org, a grassroots coalition that supports a Congressional investigation of President Bush's decision to invade Iraq in 2003."
InternationalHeraldTribune: "Vice President Dick Cheney's office was responsible for directives that led to U.S. soldiers' abusing prisoners in Iraq and Afghanistan, a former top State Department official said Thursday."
Thousands protest Bush during the meeting of the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA).
FaithfulAmerica: "A $50 billion hole is about to be blown in our national safety net for the poor, including:
- $9.5 billion in Medicaid - CUT. It's a direct hit to those needing health care - including children.
- $5 Billion in Child Support Enforcement - GONE. Without it, deadbeat parents are off the hook again, plunging hundreds of thousands of children back into poverty.
- $844 Million in food stamps - ELIMINATED. Do we even need to explain the implications here?"
Now is the time to get rid of the rogue Bush Administration, it's a failed government.
