Reuters: "The U.S. Justice Department has sued Missouri, a swing state won easily by President George W. Bush, for voting violations in the 2004 election, including registering more people to vote in some counties than their entire voting-age population.
The complaint, filed on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, said 29 Missouri counties and election jurisdictions had more people registered to vote than there actually were people of voting age living in those areas.
One Missouri county, for instance, showed voter registrations that amounted to more than 150 percent of the true voting-age population in that county."

CanadaEast: "Venezuela will soon begin selling heating oil to the poor at discount prices to communities in Boston and New York City, following up on a promise by President Hugo Chavez to help poor Americans cut energy costs, Venezuela's state oil company announced."

JTA: "The Reform movement in the United States has voted overwhelmingly to oppose both the war in Iraq and the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito for the U.S. Supreme Court.
The resolutions passed here over the weekend put the Union for Reform Judaism, the umbrella body of Reform congregations, front and center in the political debates roiling Washington."

Darwin Exhibition: "The most in-depth exhibition ever mounted on Charles Darwin, the highly original thinker, botanist, geologist, and naturalist, and his theory of evolution opened on Saturday, November 19 [in the American Museum of Natural History]. On display will be live Galápagos tortoises and horned frogs from South America, along with actual fossil specimens collected by Darwin."
The tortoise cam is not as exciting as a badger cam, but the animals do occasionally move. Don't forget to watch the video.

Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution by natural selection is the only scientific explanation for the diversity of life. It is fundamental to all biological research.

The creationists can always buy some Intelligunt Desine t-shirts.
