It's the big day today. The Tour de France has started, be it with some trouble about doping.
I hope the doping scandal will not ruin the tour. As a matter of fact, nobody has been officially accused of doping, nobody has done anything wrong yet, it's only because the names of some riders were mentioned in a Spanish investigation that the teams and the tour management decided to withdraw them. Not really fair.
Last year Lance Armstrong too was accused of doping, but afterwards he got a clean bill. The prologue is in Strasbourg. We'll miss Armstrong.

The government was caught up too quickly in a whirlwind of prestige mixed with fatigue. It must return to its senses at once, be satisfied with the threats it has made, free the detained Hamas politicians and open negotiations. The issue is a soldier who must be brought home, not changing the face of the Middle East."
