MSNBC: "Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment? (275135 responses)
YES, between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to war and more, there is plenty to justify putting him on trial: 87%
No, like any president, he has made a few missteps, but nothing approaching high crimes and misdemeanors: 4.3%
No, the man has done absolutely nothing wrong. Impeachment would just be a political lynching: 7.1%
I don't know: 1.8%"

The 'war on terror' is a profit-making business. It has hiked the prices of oil, has boosted the war industry and is wasting the taxpayers' money.
WashingtonPost: "The multibillion-dollar surge in federal contracting to bolster the nation's domestic defenses in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks has been marred by extensive waste and misspent funds, according to a new bipartisan congressional report."

For control of oil, people are killed in the Middle East in the most barbaric way. One simple statement by the local fool is enough to declare people 'Untermenschen' who deserve to be killed.

ElectronicIntifada: "Look at this logic: since Israel has asked civilians to leave, any that disobeyed have forfeited their status as civilians. Because the United States and its British followers have blocked the resolution to stop the killing, Israel will continue until Hezbollah 'is no longer present'. But remember Hezbollah has been redefined to include all those 'still in south Lebanon'. This crude logic renders all the people of southern Lebanon hominus sacres."

George W. Bush and Blair are deliberately perpetuating a war that kills civilians. They are murderers. In America more than one neocon commentator has defended the killing of politicians, and I donot count the cases of obvious mental debility like Ms Coulter, who is a 'not-so-bright woman'.
So would it be acceptable to kill Bush and Blair from the viewpoint of their opponents? It would make perfect sense. It would be adhering to the same logic Bush and Blair adhere to. It would have been acceptable to kill Hitler also.

TheAustralian: Nobel peace laureate Betty Williams said she would love to kill Bush.
But she won't and that is the difference between her and war criminals like Bush, Blair and Olmert. And that is also the difference with Condoleezza Rice who speaks hypocritical words, but stabs others in the back.

Independent: "One of the major arguments in favour of growing GM crops has been undermined by a study showing that the benefits are short-lived because farmers quickly resort to spraying their fields with harmful pesticides.
Supporters of genetically modified crops claim the technique saves money and provides environmental benefits because farmers need to spray their fields fewer times with chemicals.
However, a detailed survey of 481 cotton growers in China found that, although they did use fewer pesticides in the first few years of adopting GM plants, after seven years they had to use just as much pesticide as they did with conventional crops."

So after a few years the cotton growers would have to buy newly developed gm cotton plants. This looks like the same problem we have with antibiotics which become useless as the resistance against them grows.
And I wouldn't put it past biotechnology firms to develop gm plants and seeds that only have their ability to produce seeds modified, i.e. removed. So that farmers would be forced to buy new seeds each year, with no possibility to harvest their own seeds. The key word is 'profits'.
