Reuters: "The vast majority of Israelis believe the Jewish state should assassinate leaders of the governing Palestinian movement Hamas in response to the crisis in Gaza, a newspaper poll published on Friday showed."

Now where have I heard this kind of thing before? Yes, Germany, late thirties, previous century. And yes, indeed, there were also the Hashshashin.

When will people ever learn?

Wired: "Judging from the opening animation, My United States of Whateva is intended as a biting satire of George W. Bush's policies, and it certainly works on that level. At the same time, though, I can't help but think Bush supporters might really like it as well. Such are the strange times we live in."

NYTimes: "A decade after the Pentagon declared a zero-tolerance policy for racist hate groups, recruiting shortfalls caused by the war in Iraq have allowed large numbers of neo-Nazis and skinhead extremists to infiltrate the military, according to a watchdog organization."

Well, what can you expect from a president with a fascist mind?
Guardian: "More than 60 years after Prescott Bush came briefly under scrutiny at the time of a faraway war, his grandson is facing a different kind of scrutiny but one underpinned by the same perception that, for some people, war can be a profitable business."

And this is the result of the actions of the Bush Boys:
TheNews: "Villagers in the area said at least 11 and up to 15 civilians were killed when coalition planes bombed two homes in the Ghech Zar village in the Kajaki district."

NYTimes: "Mr. Bush's ability to wrap his power grab in the flag has diminished now that most Americans no longer consider him either competent or honest."

So, is it legitimate to ask whether George Bush did have Ken Lay murdered?
