FriendsofBradWill: "As fellow media makers and artists, we are writing to honor the memory of independent journalist, filmmaker, and respected activist Brad Will, who was brutally murdered while filming the grassroots popular movement in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Along with Brad, six other people were killed this past week by officials of the illegitimate government of Ulises Ruiz and the federal forces that are now occupying Oaxaca. Among them were: Emilio Alonso Fabián (professor), José Alberto López Bernal (nurse), Fidel Sánchez García (construction worker) and Esteban Zurita López."

MotherJones: "Secreted into a military authorization bill that was signed by the president two weeks ago is a provision that will shutter the Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction effective October 1, 2007. The office, headed by former White House official Stuart W. Bowen Jr., was established in October 2004 to investigate the potential fraud and abuse of reconstruction funds. Since then it has filed one explosive report after another, revealing, most recently, that the military could not account for hundreds of thousands of weapons it provided to Iraqi security forces. Perhaps Bowen's agency did its job a little too well."

Time: "After TIME reports that a military dog handler, convicted for his role in the prisoner abuse scandal, has been ordered to return to Iraq, the Pentagon decides to bring him back to the U.S."

TheAustralian: "The United States is lobbying to put an American, possibly a general, in charge of all UN peacekeeping operations in a move that could offer Washington an exit strategy in Iraq."
That would not only put the Bush criminals in charge of warmongering operations, but also of the whole world. God forbid!

CommonDreams: "Over the past quarter-century, and especially in the last 10 years, America's very rich have grown much richer. No one else fared as well."

MorningStar: "The price of the criminal privatisation of Britain's energy resources is likely to be paid by thousands of pensioners this winter unless the government acts quickly.
The blame lies not only with the Tories, who privatised oil, gas, electricity and coal in the first place, but also with new Labour, which has resisted calls to take these key services back into public ownership."

NHSBlogDoctor: "New Labour has been running the health service for nearly ten years now. They must therefore take responsiblity for its current state. Whatever your party politics or your doctrinal beliefs there is no other sustainable position."

New Labour is Neocon Labour and they are participating in a neocon war for oil and executing a neocon agenda. Privatisation of public services (like transport, health, education) and resources (oil, water, land) is theft of public property.

UNOMIG: "Following reports that on 25 October 2006 three GRAD rockets had been launched from Tkvarcheli district into the upper Kodori valley, in the vicinity of Azhara village, UNOMIG undertook an independent investigation on 26 October in accordance with its mandate. One investigation team traveled to the Tkvarcheli district. Another one met in Azhara with Georgian officials, who conveyed the findings of their investigation. The UNOMIG team in the Kodori valley examined two of the three impact sites. The team met again with representatives of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs on 31 October in Tbilisi.

Taking into account these inputs, following are the preliminary results of the Mission's investigation:
The findings at the second impact site are consistent with the information that the rockets were of the GRAD (BM-21) type. The country of origin of the rockets could not be determined. There were no explosions at the two impact sites investigated. The Georgian officials informed UNOMIG that there was no explosion at the third impact site either. The investigation team determined that the rockets were launched from a location south of the impact sites.
The rockets could not have been launched from the Tkvarcheli district. They must have been launched from a location significantly closer to Azhara."

Abchasia (a Russian ally; it includes Tkvarcheli) has declared its independence from Georgia (which has recently become independent from Russia). So there is a conflict of interests in the region.
The above incident indicates that someone is trying to make it seem as if Abchasia fired rockets on Georgia. However, the investigation revealed that the rockets were fired from Georgia, not Abchasia.
This is almost an example from a lesson-book on how to instigate conflicts to create a pretext for military intervention. Did the CIA help/orchestrate this incident? It is possible.
