A senior-level postdoctoral position is available immediately in a multidisciplinary laboratory setting working on a five-year NIH funded project examining the role of soluble epoxide hydrolase polymorphisms in human health. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related Life Science discipline. Must speak fluent English and have experience in one or more of the following areas: site-directed mutagenesis, heterologous expression systems, enzyme purification, pharmacogenetics or molecular toxicology. Starting salary for this position will be approximately $38,000.00 with additional fringe benefits paid. The University of Connecticut is located in rural Connecticut within a two-hour drive of Boston, New York City and many other cultural and scenic locations.
