Responsibilities: * Utilization of modern synthetic methods, spectroscopy and separations techniques. * Perform analytical analysis utilizing NMR, HPLC, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western Blot. * Ability to plan and execute syntheses of compounds required in lead identification and lead optimization of small molecule / peptide based oncology drugs and analogs to hormones. * Write SOP's, method development reports and able to search literature and identify the best methods. * Working with cGMP standards as it pertains to clinical trials formulations. * Work with Peptide synthesizer, peptide/compound purification. Qualifications: * Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemistry with 2-5 years of Industrial synthesis experience or Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry with min. 2 years of synthesis experience * Demonstrated experience executing multi-step organic syntheses.
