What Would God Hate?
Seems like the whole "What Would Jesus Do?" campaign is dying down. I used to see those signs everywhere, but to be honest, I can't remember seeing a single bumpersticker, t-shirt, or wristband with that slogan in a long time. If that campaign has been replaced with a new one, I'd appreciate someone filling me in. I like to keep current on such trends.
But since I'm not easily deterred, nor likely to give up on my quest for spiritual well-being anytime soon, I did a little poking around online and found some clues as to what God hates. Apparently homosexuals and America itself are not high on the Almighty's list.
Granted both sites are put forth by the same group (the Westboro Baptist Church), but I still see them as too distinct entities. One cannot go mixing hate. You have to keep your hates separate. One can love homosexuals, but still hate America, and vice versa. Especially since there is so much to hate out there:
Wow. I didn't know God wanted us to hate so much. I now know not to tolerate hairbacks any longer. But now I've seen the light, and I don't know about you, but I for one feel better now. Much better, in fact. Just give hate a chance.
