There Be Trees In Iowa As I wrote a few weeks ago, when I think of Iowa, I think of corn.  No longer.  Marcela has reported back to me after her trip to see where the next four years of her life will be spent (Grinnell College), and she has provided photographic evidence to support her theory that trees exist in Iowa.  Now I haven't finished my analysis to see if she has employed digital manipulation to make it appear as though there are trees in these two photos, but for now, I guess we'll just have to take Marcela at her word that they are undoctored.  I'll let you be the judge: If there be trees, they be big honking trees! More trees than you can shake an ear of corn at! Surprisingly (some would say suspiciously), not a single picture of corn in the 150 or so photos she brought back.  Conspiracy theorists can chew on that odd statistic for awhile. 8:08:46 PM     |
