Picasso Made Easy
Anyone who knows me well knows that I like early 20th century modern art. Put me in a good museum featuring works from that era and I can name the artist who painted something from clear across the room more often than not. One of the easiest artists to spot, but to also confuse others with, is Pablo Picasso. Easy to spot if you know the different styles and mediums he worked in. Easy to get wrong if you spot someone whom he influenced or worked with closely.
One of the great things about Picasso is that he never stuck to one style. Instead he would explore or invent new ones, especially in the early half of his work. He helped create what we imagine when we think of modern art. He just imagined much of it before anyone else.
Something he might not have been able to imagine, though, is how easy it is now to create your own Picasso-esque picture. Just click on over to Mr. Picassohead and within minutes, you are creating images that will be remembered for a lifetime.
