Packed
At least I think I am...
Actually, packing is just a long series of tough choices. First you have to decide on a suitcase. Do I go with the ol' trusty one, or try something new?
Then you have to decide what to take. I'll be gone almost two weeks. What sorts of clothing options do I need for those two weeks? I know south Texas won't be that cold (at least not compared to Germany), so do I lean toward clothing for milder temperatures or try and have a little bit of clothing for every possible climate that could pop up?
Then there's what to carry into the airplane cabin. Do I just take magazines and try to sleep? Do I take books and try to sleep? Do I take cds and try to sleep? Do I take nothing and bore myself to sleep? Do I go hardcore and not sleep at all and just live off the complimentary peanuts, the in-flight movie, and the facinating life story of the person sitting next to me?
These are all decisions I'm dealing with right now. It's a freakin' tightrope, I tell ya.
