According to Boing Boing Blog, there's a secret recording mode hidden in the new iPods.

Well, we couldn't wait so we went to the local Best Buy and picked up a new Gen 2 15GB. It's going to be taken apart soon, but we first ran Diagnostic Mode on it. It has a recording feature! There is also a test for LINEIN that does recording too. We don't have a mic to test with it at the moment but after "recording" when we listen to the headphones we hear the sound of nothing recorded (you know what we mean right?)

So here we are. Another bank holiday saturday. I'm sitting here listening to Miles Davis on iTunes. I've just spent almost two hours drinking Dr Pepper and reading other people's blogs when I should be working. I have something like 13,000 words to write by first thing Tuesday morning. I'm not complaining, you understand. I get paid by the word but I just can't seem to get myself going. I still have two days left to do the work and 6,500 words per day is doable, if a bit frantic.

My problem is I procrastinate too much. I put off until next week what I can easily put off until tomorrow. The result is that I'm often up at 1am writing away. What frightens me is that that is when I do my best work.
