In the wake of the Columbia disaster, efforts to develop a new reusable vehicle to service the Internatonal Space Station have becom more urgent than ever. According to Space.com, NASA is examining two options: a winged vehicle similar to the shuttle or a capsule reminiscent of Apollo. [SPACE.com]

After being refused entry to the US myself for not having the correct visa I sympathise. However, on reading the full story, I'm glad I'm not French.
French reporters on their way to cover the E3 conference in LA were held for 24+ hours by US immigration officials, repeatedly body-searched and then kicked out of the country and sent back to France.
