so this is one of those questions
if you designed a website and did the programming, who owns the design? You or the client? My contract says I own the design and assign rights for the client to use the design which means to me that I own the design and I can use it anywhere I want, its not exclusive to him.
I should probably add something in there about if the client wants the exclusive rights to the design, then its a certain amount of money.
I'm just feeling a little irked with this client because he thinks he owns the design and I should just give all the coding to the new designer he hired. I think the new designer aint going to put up with being yelled and called names but I guess at least I don't have to deal with it anymore.
I'm still a little irked that another designer is going to take my code and put his name on the design - I don't like that at all!! He didn't do the work, he didn't do the design, why does he get credit for it?
