Yasmine We decided to visit L.L.Bean yesterday evening.. I like some of their products, specially shoes and parakas. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they were playing your CD. The song they were playing was 'Yasmeen'. Needless to say that they got my business and my loyalty. BTW 'Yasmeen' is translation of 'jasmine'. Have a safe trip.. - Salma Thank you, Salma. I am glad they are playing that song, because it is not often that shoppers are entertained with music in 5/4 rhythm! I would guess that L.L.Bean subscribes to Muzak or to music delivery via the DISH network or DIRECTV. And those get fed - by the record companies...and when you are outside that network everything gets that much harder. I have come to the conclusion that if the right record company came along and offered to license my music and put it in stores, while leaving me to sell CDs and subscriptions from our web site - I might think that a good idea. I don't think that it would mean "giving up" my mission....it just means that I need to adjust a little. The internet, contrary to what we may feel, is not the shopping street for everyone. I mean, I have fans who only recently switched from cassettes to CDs!! And, after I thought so.....I received a call....2B continued..... 12:17:01 PM    comment [];
