Very Good News and Very Bad News
First the bad news
My sister's cancer has spread and it is resistant to treatment.
She has new tumors in several parts of her body and the prognosis is
not good. Even though it is in her lungs and other organs it is still
kidney cancer and it doesn't respond well to drug or radiation. So,
options are limited.
Now the good news
I meet with my new boss and her boss this afternoon. Even though
this reassignment has come about due to budget reductions (not a good
thing) it is an assignment I would have applied for had it been
advertised (a very good thing.) I am excited about it very much.
On a lighter note
John is such a goof! If there is any way he could find to combine
his love of motorcycling and bicycling John would find it.
