A father's day treat
As I write, Sue and Fran are preparing a nice father's day dinner. Yesterday evening Sue, Ken and I went to Nicole's father George's house where we celebrated "father's day eve" with Nicole, Jeff, George and Fran. It was a real treat celebrating the day together. Nicole gave Jeff a special gift, Shel Silverstien's book, "The Giving Tree." This is a book we used to read to the boys when they were babies.
Today Elaine was here and Sue and I went to where she was staying and brought bagels. John Morgan came by as did Lynn Repetski and we all had breakfast. After that some of us went on a cool bike ride. It was a lot of fun.
