NewsGator has to wait until Monday, so still no good news aggregation. I just can't make our Systems Admin come to my desk one more time to login as the Admin to give the program permission. He's been a good sport (against his better judgement, he mentioned), but you can only ask for so many trips in one day...and there's too much other stuff going on for me to do it all at once.
I really haven't written since Monday? Oh. Well, the laptop problems made work a little more busy/stressful than normal. My boss hasn't commented about my turned in work from my Monday of power-working. Show me the money!
What did I do outside of work?
Tuesday - went to play games with Chris & friends. I won a round of Ming. My team lost at Outburst. It was fun. They were a bit older crowd and I liked that. And they were fun and welcoming to a newbie. Good conversation on the way home too...some contrast of how girls and boys are supposed to handle things and talk about them. I'm glad that most of my boy-friends DO like to talk about what's going on with them and be open and expressive about the highs and lows. It's so beyond my grasp to understand functioning without that outer-expression...
Wednesday - Went to Nacho Mama's with Cassie and Kristen. I sure love that place. Lots of good 80's music, yummy food, some margarita's all around and lots of girl-catch-up talk. I love to be in a little circle where everyone is bubbling over with their stories and comments and feedback.
Thursday - I went shopping. I'm not a shopper. I normally go in with a mission, quick, get out. No such luck. I shopped for three hours and found nothing. I'm going out to a nice dinner tonight and nothing in my closet looked "right." Neither did anything in any store I went in. It was a little sad. I decided I'd rather be unfulfilled with something I owned (and didn't have to spend more money on) than buying something I wasn't happy with. There were cute things, just nothing fancy enough for this eve.
It should be a good weekend...dinner and some blues tonight...RennFest tomorrow...out for Mark's b-day tomorrow night...maybe a bike ride (an organized one) Sunday morning 'round B-more...Oktoberfest...yeah, good stuff.
