Rebecca's Blog
Mostly news stories or articles of interest in the future to me. I'll eventually get around to adding my own ideas and stories on a more regular basis.

I love crisp sheets.
And crunchy leaves.
And loose curls.

I love the smell of shampooed hair.
And fall-rains.
And fresh flowers.

I love unspoken jokes that make you laugh until you tear-up.
And hugs that last longer than they have to.
And little kisses all over my face.

I love feeling romantic while spending an evening alone.
And the comfort of my pajamas.
And the taste of peppermint chapstick.

Such a complete lack of energy...but I want to be able to sleep tonight, so I'm doing my best to avoid napping.

I had a really nice weekend.  Fun out Friday night.  I tried out Ixia.  It has nice atmosphere, but I don't see it being a regular stopping spot...a good option for special occasions though.  We dropped by John Stevens.   It turned into a long night.  I remember looking at my clock at 4:30 in the morning and realizing I seriously needed some sleep before Saturday morning.

Saturday I went to the Farmer's Market (and got the most beautiful flowers!) at 8 with Kristen and then the Renaissance Festival. with Scott.  We saw several good skits.  I came home and took a nap and then met the crew out for Mark's b-day celebration.  We had a few drinks at Brewer's Art and the 13th Floor for some dancing.  I hadn't hung out with most the folks for quite some time, but it was good for me.  They're fun and funny.  After we closed the place down, Dallas, Mark, Abir & I headed to Sip & Bite for late night burgers with eggs on top.  Once again, I looked at my alarm at 4:30 and knew that my body needed some serious sleep.

I got a bit, but my phone rang at 10 AM and I decided to go ahead and get up.  I met up at Barnes & Noble and then headed to Hampden....lunch at Golden West and then some vintage-shop browsing.

I am getting laundry done now, but that's all I've managed to do so far.  I have this nice thought of getting my mail all sorted, bills entered in online to pay, bedroom re-arranged and some summer clothes packed up.  I'm not sure any of those things are going to happen though.  I really should grocery shop and run by Target, but...that would require putting on something besides pajama pants and that just doesn't sound like a good plan at all.

Several good conversations through the weekend.  Some that I'll remember...
-If you could really do anything, money not being a consideration, what would you do.
-Politics (it's that time).....
-Dating - both with girls and boys and trying to figure out what things matter to people and why...

I also let go of a grudge...
