It's been over a week since Jinni's first chemo treatment. Although things might change with subsequent infusions of Epirubicin and the other cancer treatment drugs they will be pumping in to her, so far her body seems to think that chemotherapy is some kind of a rejuvinating elixer. She feels great and looks wonderful.
The highlight of the last week was getting her hair cut and sent off to Locks of Love. As you can see, I came home last night to a different woman than I kissed good-by on Monday when I departed for Charlotte. I really like the change.
She also purchased her "cranial prothsesis" this week in anticipation of the next change in her coiffure. She modeled it for me and the kitchen crowd last night and it is a very faithful reproduction of her pre-haircut mane. After seeing her with short hair, however... I think she might want to consider getting her new wig re-styled to reflect her new - albeit presumably short-lived - look.
