From my first read of this morning's N&R website....
In order to woo the female vote in his upcoming bid for County Commissioner, Ed Whitfield has transformed himself into Nettie Coad
Confused? Me too. Under an mis-identified picture of Ms. Coad was this caption in the N&R's online edition: "Ed Whitfield, seen in this 1996 file photo, is running for the Guilford County Board of Commissioners."
I understand the mix up on the picture (which will probably be fixed by the time you read this), but did I miss an announcement that Whitfield will be running for Commissioner?
