Update: This post was published prematurely. I started the post and then 'filed it' for later editing, or so I thought. I was fully expecting to come back to it later in the day and then put it up on Sunday. Oh well... I can't take it down now... I'll just add on to it over the next day or so...

Since HoggsBlog readers know everything else about this author's life except, perhaps, my toilet habits... I figured you might as well be in on the deliberations surrounding my final decision on whether or not to run for an at-large seat on the Greensboro City Council.
Old Ben Franklin pioneered a simple method for decision making which I adopted many years ago and am attempting to apply here. He would list all of the 'positives' on one side of a sheet of paper and list all of the 'negatives' on the other. Once both columns are populated with every positive or negative point that can be thought of, the decision goes to the column with the most entries. Or at least that is how it has worked for me here-to-for... let's give it a whirl.
Negatives (Reasons to wait two years)
Positives (Go on and do it)
