On Demand applications I think this is a very important announcement. Hosted applications have a lot of benefits. One of the drawbacks to me speaking personally is that the user needs continuous access to the Web. For a traveller, that's hard. But for most applications it's a piece of cake. I know that Arena Solutions does this in the PLM space. There will be more coming in the near future to a factory near you. Salesforce CEO's vision for 'business Web'.
