The Value of Patents An interesting article on the value of patents. We had a hint about patents in automation when an aggressive manager and super-aggressive attorneys (I know, that's triple redundant) took some patents that on the surface appeared spurious and brought innovation in PLCs and other things to a screeching halt for years.
