Howard's End Howard Dean says he'll withdraw from the presidential race if he doesn't win the Wisconsin primary on February 17th.  Strategically, this announcement seems like a bad idea, since it will inevitably prompt the other candidates to redouble their campaign efforts in Wisconsin, in order to administer the coup de grâce to Dean. Regardless of the outcome in Wisconsin, Kerry is likely to remain the front-runner, provided that he can avoid donning a cheesehead costume and looking as silly as Michael Dukakis did in his infamous 1988 tank photo-op. 2:05:34 PM
