Alles in Wunderland Some NPR commentator this morning was going on and on about the significance of Gerhard Schroeder's being the first German chancellor to visit Normandy since D-Day. I tired of this and switched to the classical music station, which, by a strange coincidence, was playing the 2nd movement of Haydn's string quartet in C, Opus 76, #3 -- which supplied the melody for "Deutschland Uber Alles". 1:42:44 PM
