Bring in a librarian[posted by Troy] After decades and decades and decades of corruption, the City of Chicago is finally going to clean things up. The key step in the clean up is that Daley brought in a librarian. As the Sun-Times reports: He[Daley]appointed Mary Dempsey, the commissioner of the Chicago Public Library system, to a six-month tour of duty cleaning out fraud in programs in which city contracts are set aside for companies that are owned and operated by women and minorities. Time of Season via Advertisements Since tomorrow is Ash Wednesday for Christians signifiying the begining of Lent, fish sandwhich commercials are back on TV. I've seen both McDonald's and Burger King. Just like you only see Chia Pets at Christmas and George Bush underwear at 4th of July, you only see the fish sandwhiches during lent.
