Yesterday's News [posted by Troy] It's long be evident that comic books are a dying business. The average age of readers is going up each year and the number of comics sold each month is decreasing. Marvel and DC have long been turning profits from selling characters rights to toy companies and movies. Every so often, a movie will spark an increase in comic book sales, but that is temporary. Anyway, an article out of Oregon brought all of this to mind. This piece tells us how these companies basically ripped off the writers who created the characters in the first place.

Talking to Pets [posted by the Research Division] Ok, we are curious about something. How often do you talk with your pets? When you do talk to your pets, do you expect them to respond? Finally, when you talk to your pets, how long do you expect them to remember what you told them? For instance, if you give them some sort of information, "You will be taking a bath in 3 days," would you expect them to remember this in 3 days? Please post your comments. Thanks.
