Mixed [posted by TAS] We saw Ed Harris in the Truman Show last night. I don't know why, but in some roles, I get Harris mixed up with Robert Duvall. I really shouldn't get them mixed up because they don't look that much alike, but sometimes, with the right makeup and in the right times of their lives, they are somewhat similar.

Tomorrow [posted by Troy] "In the barn, John is about to finally get the truth out of Crystal when a shovel knocks him out!" Kim and I are skipping work to watch tomorrow's Days of Our Lives. Those of you with Tivo can record it.

$$$ [posted by Troy] The Times reports that Marlon Brando's novel will be published very soon. He's only been dead a year, but his for some reason his 30 year old novel is just now getting published. This has happened with several of Hemingway's unpublished works. Any artist will tell you that making "good" art involves making lots of "bad" art that the artist does not always want the public to see. Yet, when famous people die, family members, publishers, and others publish whatever they can get their hands on irregardless of the wishes of the creator. Many scholars think that publishing these works is valuable, because it reveals the process and helps us understand the artist. So, it is a back and forth battle. I am always drawn between the two views. Kerouac used to write and then burn the pages so that he would free himself of the art.
