64/104 is a good run [posted by Troy]
I've been meaning to post something about our Beer Fest outing to Madison, Wisconsin (see Great Taste FAQ). It was awesome. There were 104 different breweries there from across the Midwest including Sam Adams, Pyramid, Goose Island, Blue Cat, and a bunch of others that I recognized. There were also many that were quite small, but very good. Most had about different beers. My goal was to drink one drink of beer (maybe 2 oz) from each of the breweries. I made it through 64 breweries by the end. In my youth, I may have hit 80, but I don't think I could ever make all 104. Check this wikipedia entry about different types of beer. (I'm do not often trust wikipedia for real research, but this entry is ok for fun.)

Colleen's Birthday Onion [posted by Troy]
Last night, we were out for Colleen's birthday (Click here) at a local drinking establishment, and I picked up a copy of this week's Onion. This week they substituted the normal stuff they smoke with the good stuff, because they were on the money. Here my top three favorite stories:
1) Rumsfeld
2) Nukehavistan
3) Intelligent Falling
