No More Baseball at Wrigley. Just Old Style! [posted by Troy] Remember the good old days (the decade of the 90s, late 80s, and most of the 70s) at Wrigley when true fans didn't let something as meaningless as baseball get in the way of a good time? Well, the good old days are back, and with their 8th loss in a row, the philosophical Cubs have reminded us (using a lack of pitching and hitting) that there is more to life than winning baseball games. Since 2003, we have been WAY too concerned about victory. We have let the true meaning of baseball slip past us. It's about Old Style, a nice summer breeze, foul balls in the stands, a good Hewbrew National hotdog, to just name a few things. The Northside has become way to worried about wins and losses. We are above such meaningless things. I mean, it's just a game. Let's get back to old days of drinking ourselves silly in the bleachers. On a less sarcastic note, we did hear Wade Boggs sing the 7th inning stretch. Ryno was up in the booth. Here is the camera phone in action:
The white blur in the middle of the WGN booth is him.

A Warning to Josh [from the JordanFiles] Since I know a professional video game player, I thought I should pass alongthis MSN artlce that Jordan sent me about the true dangers of video games. When you have two kids, you don't want to mess around.
