Circa 1965 [posted by Troy] Would your believe that there is a void in the Internet when it comes to good Web sites about the 1960s TV show Get Smart starring Don Adams as Maxwell Smart? It's true. Most of the pages out there really suck. This site is the best that is out there. If you scroll toward the bottom of the page, you will find links to the show's opening sequence. That is cool. By the way, did you know that Mel Brooks was one of the creators and writers for the show?

semantics [posted by Troy] NPR reports that astronomers have found what could be a 10th planet around our sun, but now they are debating the meaning of "planet." You see, if you call it a planet, then it is eligible to be heard in the courts and it would have the civil rights of a planet. Thus, you couldn't just lock it away in Cuba. If you call if an enemy combatant planet, then it has no rights under the Geneva Accords.
