Reprieve A bit of calm has settled on the Binger/Patterson household. Jamie's week-end soccer tournament was the wrap up of his indoor soccer season, so we find ourselves with two nights a week when we aren't rushing to eat and run out the door to a 6 p.m. game. Alan has a two-week break too. He's also voluntarily cut back on the amount of soccer he does.....he says he just doesn't feel like playing competitively any more. I think he'll still try out for a team that's going to the Canada Summer Games in August, but says that will be his last tournament. He no longer yearns to play university soccer nor does he want to go to the National Men's Soccer Championships this summer.  The fervour he once put into soccer is now being funnelled into his guitar. It's so interesting to watch the kids grow and change! 6:50:38 AM    comment []
