Early Riser
I woke up extra early this morning so decided to make peanut butter/oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies. I'm finding I'm cooking a lot more these days - probably because it's fun to work in the new kitchen.
Alan is getting ready for his school talent show. His band, now called Sanctuary, is performing. He has a two minute solo at the beginning of the song and I know he's nervous about that, but it's sounding pretty good. I'll never forget the first time they performed, two years ago. They had sound troubles and by the time they actually got things sorted out and could play, Alan was so mortified he had inched so far off stage you couldn't even see him! I'm sure things will go better this time round.
