Men and Toys
Joe bought a new truck yesterday. His old one was at the point where he was pouring way too much money into repairs, so it was time. He had to take us all for a ride of course, and we oohed and ahhhed at all the right times. Later in the evening, when Alan and I returned from a soccer meeting, the truck was gone. I rightly guessed that Joe was out and about, showing off his new toy to friends.
