Now I Get It
Aha.....with a little help from my friends now I understand. The Mexicans were chanting Scooby-doo the movie, not the character. There's is a guy in the movie called Shaggy. He's who they thought Alan looks like. Mystery solved, thanks to Peter and Ted. It turns out they're calling Alan Shaggy at his work now too. The beard is coming off soon, but the hair.....I think that's here to stay for a while.
